Good Faith Estimate
At Gulf Grove Therapy, we believe in transparency, choice, and reducing financial surprises — because mental health care should feel supportive from the very start.
Under the No Surprises Act, you’re entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of what your therapy services may cost — especially if you’re not using insurance.
Who Receives a Good Faith Estimate?
If you’re uninsured or choosing not to use your insurance (i.e., paying out of pocket), you have the right to request a written estimate before beginning services.
You’ll receive this estimate:
- Before your first session or upon request
- At least 1 business day before services begin (for scheduled care)
- Whenever you ask for one

What’s Included?
Your Good Faith Estimate outlines expected charges for:
- Initial intake session
- Ongoing therapy sessions (typically weekly or biweekly)
- Any other scheduled or recurring services
It’s based on our standard private pay fees and your specific treatment plan. Since therapy is personalized, the total cost will depend on how often you attend and for how long.
What if Costs Change?
We’ll always let you know if there’s a meaningful change in your treatment plan or fees. You’re welcome to pause or adjust care at any time.

Your Rights
